♦ sounds like → ANGELA, Jyukai, eufonius, ELISA, Ceui, Suara
♦ genres → pop, pop-rock, acoustic, guitar pop, power pop
♦ support → yesasia | cdjapan | hmv | amazon (jp)
♦ sarah's note → Like many other duos, savage genius was a two-member jpop duo known for their many anime tie-in songs. In 2008 however, member Takumi left but vocalist Aa has continued releasing under savage genius's name. The group produced typically anime genre music with both acoustic and electronic influences. Aa's voice is similar to other singers in this genre and she uses it well. Since Takumi's departure she has released several singles produced by her as well as other artists. I would suggest grabbing "Sora no Kotoba" to try.

Ahh, even though work is piling up, this week's AnS was so cute that I couldn't resist translating a part of it! The unaired scenes didn’t interest me as much so I’m not gonna talk about those. Thanks to jamerei for uploading so quickly for everyone's enjoyment.
Ohno's conclusion at the last part is made of WIN.
Really?! What would Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie do on AnS? Dilatancy?!

It's that time again! Yes, I have managed to scan the calendar sets from Big Bang's 2010 Official Calendars. I have to say, they are gorgeous! Even with GD's blonde curls. :D For part 1, I have scanned the original calendar and the scheduler. Part 2 will be coming soon~! Again, please take out and use with proper credits. (hyuntwins@livejournal.com). These are huge files scanned at 400dpi. Links are on the Mediafire server. Please do not hotlink! Comments are love~! And- enjoy!

Some people are sooo money hungry now days... it makes me mad.
I have seen numerous people selling various concert goods for extremely high prices. These, among the rest of us, are also probably people complaining about crazy expensive ticket prices. And once they are no longer in Japan, will also be complaining about expensive goods prices.
Why would you charge fellow fans US$25 for a 500yen (US$5.50) strap!?!?!?!?!?
I understand that you have to stand in line for an eternity... but aren't you standing in line anyways!?
I can see if people charged like 5% or whatever, because lugging all that crap around is a real pain in the ass, but seriously!?!?! I could buy 5 straps for the price of the ONE you are trying to sell.
I guess I am one of those fans that feels bad making money off of our boys. That is probably why I don't buy goods for others quite often either.
Too much politics.
If I am going OUT OF MY WAY to get stuff, I guess I would treat it more like a job. But making a butt load of money off of the boys whether it be tickets or goods... not something I approve of... basically, if you are NOT in the fan club, you are just continuing the vicious cycle. All the girls who are buying goods from you are basically paying for you to go to the concert by buying a ticket from a dafuya or online... actually, you are pretty much the same as the old dirty dafuya.. you just come in a cute fan girl package.
I guess I am really turning Japanese. On Japanese forums, girls don't sell things for more than regular price... it's not allowed, and it's looked down on. There are even girls who don't go if they don't hit. I admit I have bought tix online, but only because 9 of us didnt hit *cries*... it's a difficult position, I admit. But yea, charging girls overseas 3x the price of goods is rediculous.
*sigh* ok. i'm calmer now.
I may be getting a bunch of nagoya charms and selling them... but not sure yet... I'm trying to find people to trade nagoya (and maybe kokuritsu) for osaka and fukuoka.
